Emergence Quilt Pattern
The Emergence Quilt is a reflection on the sacred and often messy process of creation. Like the Phoenix that rises from the ashes, it represents the necessity of destruction in the process of creation. Nothing truly dies; it simply transforms, making space for the new to emerge.
The Emergence Quilt is comprised of half square triangle (HST) blocks that are sewn together in rows. The rows are then sewn together to complete the top. Chain piecing is a very efficient technique that helps this quilt top come together quickly.
This quilt pattern provides options for three different sizes:
Baby (48”x 48”), Throw (72”x 72”) and Queen (96”x 96”).
