Caring for your Quilted Wall Hanging
-
When your quilt arrives
Your quilt may have a bit of creasing when it arrives. You can use an iron on a cotton setting to press out the creases.
Long exposure to UV rays will affect the color of natural dyes over time. I advise hanging your quilt out of direct sunlight.
See the How to Hang your Quilt instructions for hanging tips.

Caring for your quilted wall hanging
To keep your quilted wall hanging clean, use a lint roller to periodically remove any dust or lint that collects on your quilt. Do NOT machine wash. This could cause the fabric to shift and distort, resulting in a wall hanging that no longer lays flat.
If your wall quilt becomes stained, please contact me.

Caring for other naturally dyed items
For naturally dyed items used as blankets, cushions, shawls, or scraves, spot clean or machine wash with cool water on a gentle cycle using mild, pH neutral detergent. (I recommend Seven Generations unscented liquid detergent.) Use a color catcher if you are concerned about the colors bleeding. Hang or lay flat to dry out of direct sunlight. Snuggle often.
