Caring for your Quilt
-
When your quilt arrives
Your quilt may have a bit of creasing when it arrives. You can use an iron on a cotton setting to press out the creases.
See the How to Hang your Quilt instructions for guidance on displaying your quilt.
-
Caring for your quilted wall hanging
For quilted wall hangings, use a lint roller to periodically remove any dust or lint that collects on your quilt. Spot clean with warm water and mild detergent, if needed. Do NOT machine wash.
-
Washing your quilt or quilted cushion
For quilts used as blankets, throws, or cushions, spot clean or machine wash with cool water on a gentle cycle using mild, pH neutral detergent. (I recommend Seven Generations unscented liquid detergent.) Use a color catcher if you are concerned about the colors bleeding. Hang or lay flat to dry. Snuggle often.
