Intro to Quilting
Date: October 11th, 18th, & 25th (three Sundays)
Time: 9:00am-1:00pm
During this three-session class, students will be guided through the entire process of creating a quilt from start to finish using Juli Rae’s Ventanas Quilt pattern.

Quilted Holiday Stocking
Date: Sunday, November 22
Time: 9:00am-3:00pm
Make a treasured keepsake you’ll use year after year with this quilted holiday stocking. The design is a perfect project for novice and experienced sewists. It features a traditional ribbon star block made from a square in a square and flying geese. Each student will receive a digital copy of the Quilted Holiday Stocking pattern.

How to create flying geese and square in a square blocks
Basic piecing and quilting techniques
Adding lining to your stocking
Finishing techniques including topstitching and adding a hanging ribbon

“I downloaded Adobe Illustrator and then did a Google search to find some lessons on how to make a quilt in Illustrator and found this class. I had never opened Illustrator before this class. I now have a library of quilt block shapes that I can use to start dreaming up quilts of my own and even my own mock-up. The instructor is super responsive and answers questions in a very detailed and easy to follow way.
