Painted Hills Wall Quilt
This wall quilt is inspired by the dramatic rock formations of the Painted Hills, a geological site in Oregon created by color stratifications in the soil. The fabric used in this piece was hand painted using plant-based dye paints. Hanging sleeves allow for easy display (wooden dowel not included).
Made using fabric that has been naturally dyed with henna, onion skins, and various plant-based dye paints.
All work is dyed, designed, and made by me in my home studio in Portland, OR.
