The Garden Walk quilt block measures 12” x 12” and is made from organic cotton fabric that has been naturally dyed with black walnut, himalayan rhubarb + iron, cutch and onion skins + iron. It is finished with hand embroidered letters: PEACE.
This collection of quilt blocks was created in response to the brutal events taking place across our nation and the inspirational response by people showing up to take care of each other. People who choose to see the sacredness of our shared humanity rather than the invented divisions of race and nationality. People who see their neighbor as family and the diversity of their communities as beautiful.
The quilt block is stretched on a wooden frame. Sawtooth hanger included for easy display.
